Henshaws has been helping people affected by sight loss overcome everyday obstacles since our foundation in 1837.

Sometimes it is hard to imagine the day-to—day emotional and physical difficulties encountered by someone who is blind or visually impaired – from a young child learning to play, to an adult looking for work or independent housing, to an elderly person needing specialist care – Henshaws is always there to help transform lives.

Henshaws High Five campaign aims to raise £5 million over the next three years to fund the ongoing development and expansion of our services across the North of England.

By taking part in an event and raising vital funds for Henshaws you will be helping us make a difference to the lives of extraordinary people who just want to lead ordinary lives, like anyone else.
